Attached residences (2) to the House of Maciéis Aranhas

Built in the XVII century in Campo da Vinha, one of the biggest squares planned during the urbanistic renovation by D. Diogo de Sousa around 100 years before, these two blocks are the last exemplars in Braga of the houses of the sixteenth century with street access staircase, inferior arch and porch supported by columns.

A two-story building, they have on the main floor chest windows, rectangular frame, built in the 90s of the twentieth century, some changes on the façade, in particular, the transformation of the crossing arch door.

The interior space was highly modified, although is still possible to recognize a small space bounded by columns that define a central courtyard.
