Roman Road Braga doubtful road (21milestones, Chapel Series)
Classified in 1910 as “National Monument”, the “Road from Braga to Guimarães” was built during the Romanization period of the current Portuguese territory. Identified by 20 milestones belonging to the road that led Guimarães to Bracara Augusta (Braga), was absolutely essential to the consolidation of the new land administration imposed by Rome, once it served for military purposes and at the same time to transport raw materials essential to well development of the orders gave by the epicenter of the new imperial order, specially metal materials.
