The archaeological set of Dume takes on, currently, as one of the most important investigation sites of the north of Portugal over the short history of the Swabian kingdom. The occupation of the place goes back to the first years of the Roman Empire, time when a uilla settled there, which has a compartment known. Posteriorly, and according to what the excavation suggests, the propriety was renewed in the III-IV centuries, moment mainly belongs a thermal building (of octagonal plane highly compartmentalized), recently excavated.
