Bissora is a city of Guinea-Bissau, in West Africa, located in the region of Oio, in the Cacheu River’s estuary.
Located between the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer, Guinea-Bissau has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 27 °C and a low amplitude during the year.
Thanks to very favourable ecological conditions, the agricultural and forestry sector continue to be one of the most significant sectors of Bissora's economy, especially subsistence farming (corn, fresh fruit, cashew nuts, sweet potatoes, cassava, beans) and exportation of wood, original from the forest that surrounds Bissora.
Bissora’s power plant supplies the whole city and all the wood export industry .
